Nurse Practitioner Organizations

ARNPs United of Washington State - ARNPs United is the statewide group for all Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. In Washington this includes Certified Nurse Midwives, CRNAs and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners as well as Nurse Practitioners of all other specialties.

Association of Eastside Nurse Practitioners (AENP) - AENP, the Association of Eastside Nurse Practitioners, established in 1990, is a non-profit professional organization supporting nurse practitioners who live and/or work on the eastside of King County. The organization is a recognized affiliate of ARNPs United of Washington, the professional organization for nurse practitioners in Washington State. All AENP members are encouraged to also maintain membership in ARNPs United of Washington. Learn more about AENP via our mission statement and bylaws.

Midwives of Washington - Midwives of Washington is the Washington State Chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Olympia Area Advanced Practice Association - The Olympia Area Advanced Practice Association now numbers over 120 members. We generally meet monthly during the calendar year, for networking with each other and education about a wide variety of topics. The Association is open to anyone practicing in an advance role, usually a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant, who live in the Olympia area. In general, this includes Thurston, Lewis, Mason and parts of Pierce County.

Puget Sound Nurse Practitioner Association - Puget Sound Nurse Practitioner Association is a regional nurse practitioner group meeting in the greater Seattle area.

Washington Association of Nurse Anesthetists - WANA is comprised of approximately 400 active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) who provide anesthesia services in large medical centers, community hospitals, rural hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician/ dental offices. WANA's mission remains strong, focusing on Education, Advocacy, Patient Safety and Quality. Members can obtain continuing education credits by attending two WANA-sponsored meetings each year, typically held in April (Westside) and September (Eastside). With an active Government Relations Committee, WANA remains diligent in closely monitoring issues that affect CRNA and ARNP practice in Washington State.

Washington Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates & Practitioners - Washington State Chapter of NAPNAP is committed to support, promote and foster the objective and goals of NAPNAP in Washington State, to support and facilitate local and state legislative programs improving the quality of infant, child, and adolescent health care in Washington State and to promote the role and visibility of PNPs in Washington State.

Nurse Practitioner Group of Spokane - Nurse Practitioner Group of Spokane is dedicated to fostering high professional standards and strengthening the commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession of Nurse Practitioners. We provide continuing education credits to maintain certification and prescriptive authority for NPs. We actively support ARNP legislative activities through our legislative liason, our membership and involvement with ARNP United and other national NP groups. We strive to identify and promote opportunities to market the nurse practitioner role at local, state and nationwide levels and promote educational and mentoring opportunities for nurse practitioner students in the Inland Northwest.
